Oso Railroad
Oso Railroad is a local area fishing spot that bridges the Oso Bay at Holly Road. This area can produce Redfish, black drum, and some large speckled trout.
WARNING: This fishing spot is very hazardous to fish the abandon and rotting out of this old railway bridge. As you can see the bridge has several holes in the cross ties that you could fall through and get injured. You sure don't want to be out here at night.
You can access an old road from the Waldron road (South side). The North entrance is private property and has a dirt road access by 4 wheel drive.
Fishing near the shorelines from the Oso Railroad using plastics or bait should give you a nice day of angling. You can see that Luis Wilmont caught a nice stringer in November (2008) using plastics.
Oso Bay is connected to the Corpus Christi Bay. This area is often over looked by anglers since it might be "out of site and out of mind". Popular area for kayaking and easily launch from near by areas.
